How to Easily Write Your Articles

Do you struggle to write valuable articles that are concise and informative? If so then read on to learn some tips and techniques that can assist you with your article writing.

 Most beginning authors have trouble writing good articles. Often times you will stare at a blank screen and just don’t know where to start. If you have a plan such as an outline, then this helps by focusing your attention on each part of the process instead of the whole project at once. An outline can make it manageable and easier.

 Now that you understand how an outline can help, let’s look at an example that has worked for many successful authors.

Where to start

First write an outline for your article. The outline could go like this.

1.      Article Title: Choose an eye-catching, keyword filled descriptive headline.

2.      Article Introduction: Introduce your subject by telling the reader about the subject, and what exactly the points is that you will be discussion.

3.      Sub Headlines: (There could be 3 sub headlines here take or give a few) List each sub headline.

4.      Article conclusion: Sum up what you just discussed while giving any solutions or advice.

5.      Your resource Box: An interesting sentence or two with a link back to your web site.

 Each sub headline will be one point from several in your article. This will make your article easier to write and read.

Now you will want to do research on your subject. You can do this by searching on Google, Wikipedia and Article directories to name a few. It may be easier if you research each sub headline separate.

Okay, gather your notes and begin writing your article. Do not copy and paste. You should use your own words. Often it helps if you write like you talk.

Just follow the outline above and fill in each section. When you are done go over it and see how well it reads. Change anything that doesn’t flow well so that it does. After you are satisfied go back over your article and fix any grammar mistakes and miss-spellings.

Finally have someone else read your article and give feedback to you.

You may find this to be a bit hard at first, but once you do it a few times it will speed up your writing and increase your article appeal too.

• Irrelevant keywords in the meta tags

If you add keywords in the Meta tags that aren’t actually on the web page, then this is considered spamming. If you want your rankings lowered then that’s the way to do it.

• Linking to Bad Neighborhoods

Make sure you only link to Good Neighborhoods. Don’t link to sites that spam or use any type of Black Hat SEO. That will surely backfire on you.

• Hidden Text

If you try to add hidden text by making the text color the same as, or close to the background, then that’s Black Hat SEO and you could very easily be removed from the search engines. This also goes for very tiny text. If your visitors can’t read it easily, then it better not be there!

• More than one Title

Just like keyword stuffing, don’t do it. You should only have one title tag per page. Be careful, sometimes you can do this accidentally. Double check to make sure there’s only one title tag.

Sometimes Black Hat can deliver fast results, but they don’t last long. Eventually your rankings will drop way down or you could be banned from the search engines.

You can get great, long-lasting results from White Hat SEO. So don’t fool with the latter.

SEO is not spam unless you abuse it. Just use common sense. Write good content with your visitors in mind. Don’t try to trick them or the search engines.

White Hat SEO evolves writing good quality content. Don’t try to use spammy tricks. Deliver great content to your visitors and the search engines. Don’t hide text, or stuff Meta tags with keywords that shouldn’t be there. Make sure your title tag and other Meta tags reflect your page.

Just don’t do anything that you feel uncomfortable about. Double check your content and Meta tags for errors. Use only White Hat SEO techniques that are lasting and honorable.

Using White Hat SEO will take you to the top of the rankings, while the Black Hat abusers will eventually fall right off the web.

Here are a few ideas to get more visitors to your web site.

• Post ads on free ad sites
• Write articles and submit them to article directories
• Post on forums
• Leave comments on Blogs
• Submit your site to directories
• Make a Squidoo lens,
• Hub

Sometimes it’s just not easy when starting an article. You may be drawing a blank, staring at the keyboard.

• Use an outline so that you know what part of the article you are working on at particular time. You could use a mind map program
• Search on an article directory or Google for some ideas.
• Get up and do something else for  while. Then come back
• Just start writing whatever comes into your head no matter how silly. Don’t stop. Then go over it. You may find out you have some gems in there.

Site maps

Site maps are separate pages that contain links to all of your web pages that you want to be listed in the search engines. They look somewhat like a “Table of Contents”

A site map should list all of your pages with the page’s Title Tag as the “Anchor Text”. This means that the text from each page’s Title Tag will be used as the hyperlink pointing to that page.

You should add a description below the Title Tags for each page.

You should have a navigation menu on each page that is consistent. The best way to accomplish this is by designing your web site with a template. The navigation will be built into the template and will be used for each page. Then you can add your unique content for each page.

Having your navigation in place can increase the number of your pages indexed by the search engines.

• Use the appropriate Anchor Text in your menu structure.
• Be consistent by using a template

This way no matter which page your visitor comes in on they can find what they want easily.

Organic SEO will take some effort and time on your part but the results will more than pay for itself.

There are some simple things that you can implicate right away and see results fairly soon. Other steps will take a bit more time as they continue to push your sites to the top of the search engines.
